Hank was sent to the bank to make the usual deposit for the business he worked for. Unfortunately he had recently jilted a co-worker. In a rage she jotted out a note that said "Smile. I have a grenade, don't make me use it." and unbeknownst to Hank put it in with the deposit.

The teller did as instructed and smiled, then handed the note to the guard. He instinctively pulled out his gun. When Hank threw his hands in the air the guard panicked, thinking Hank was throwing the
grenade and shot him.
