the letter in her hand was a letter from dusty dumping her and he had her anxiety tablets in the bottle he took so she had a panic attack and with out the tablets died.

I'm going to say--Dusty sabotaged Violet's envelopes, dusting them with something she had an allergy to so that when she licked the envelope to seal it she went into anaphylactic shock. The bottle he stole was her epinephrine so that she could not take it and stop the reaction.

I'm going to says that she was allergic to the glue on the envelope. She licked it and could not take her medication because Dusty had stole it.

Dusty wrote a note breaking up with Violet and inside the envelope was some powder that she was alergic too. Since he knew she woudn't leave him alone he took her bottle of alergy medicine so that when she had a alergic reaction to the powde she would die.

Dusty had placed some pollen dust in an envelope in Violet’s mail. Then he put some bees in her house and stole Violet’s allergy medicine to bee stings. When returning home she walked in the door with her mail in her hand. The bees swarmed the pollen and stung Violet causing a severe allergic reaction. Since there was no medicine, she died before the paramedics made it there. By then the bees had left the house.
