Critics accused her of breaking the rules set down by the detection club by having the narrator double as the murderer. The readers didn’t mind. According to one statistic I read, Agatha Christie’s book sales are only surpassed by the Bible!

Hey -- don't give away the ending! Just because ROGER ACKROYD came out decades ago doesn't mean there are not still people reading it for the first time!
